A note from the photographer
Alright, let's do this one last time...
My name is Roby Davis. I've grown up around cameras my whole life, and now for the past 6 years I've been behind the camera, learning to capture more than just what's in front of me.

Some of my earliest memories with a camera are from trips with my dad, exploring new places and taking photos together. What started as something we did for fun slowly turned into something I genuinely enjoy.
Back then I wasn't worried about getting the perfect shot or figuring out the right settings — I just liked being out there with him, pressing the shutter, and ending up with something we could look back on. That's still the best part for me now: catching a moment before it's gone.
I've photographed weddings, senior sessions, portraits, sports, landscapes, and more — and every shoot has taught me something different about how I see people, places, and the moments happening around me.

My approach today
I'm currently a college student based in San Marcos and Houston, Texas, and photography has become a big part of how I experience the things around me.
When I shoot, I'm always trying to tell a story with my photos. I'm not just looking for a good picture; I want there to be something behind it. Whether it's the way people interact, a small moment that happens in between, or just the feeling of being there, I want my photos to give you a sense of what was happening beyond the frame. I want you to look at a photo and feel like you were actually there.
